07/05/2007 | PAKISTAN Population to be Warned Against Using Outdated BanknotesThe State Bank of Pakistan requested the population not to use the old banknote in the denomination of 5 Rupees. It was withdrawn from circulation on June 1, 2005 and replaced with coin of the same denomination, which is now legal tender in the country. |
01/05/2007 | ROMANIA Urns for Litter out of… Withdrawn BanknotesAn unusual application was found for withdrawn banknotes in Romania. They are now applied to manufacture urns for litter. Nearly a year and a half ago denomination took place in the country. As a result 4 zeros disappeared from the Leu banknotes. Both series - the old and new ones - were polymer. |

The obverse of all the coins has common design: 12 stars around the edge interspersed with the letters spelling “SLOVENIJA”, and the year of mintage in one or two lines – “2007”. The design of the center is unique for each denomination. |
